Muslims and Hindus can not live together
I. Sir Syed Ahmed Khan (born October 17, 1817, died March 27, 1898)
In no country do Muslims living as a minority identify themselves with the country's nation. For example, in Sri Lanka, racially Indian, linguistically Tamilian, but religiously Muslim, they call themselves Muslims and have a party like Sri Lanka Muslim Congress. In India, there is an Indian Union Muslim League. In France, UK, Norway and the US, they like to be called Muslims first. In India for quite some time past, they are saying they are Muslim Indians, not Indian Muslims. This means they are first and last Muslims who happen to be in India. This question, whether Muslims are part of the nation, has been clearly spelt out by the most leading intellectuals and politicians of Muslim Indians. As early as in 1888, that is just 3 years after the Indian National Congress was founded, Sir Sayyed Ahmed Khan, the first tallest western educated Muslim of India, made a speech in Meerut on 16th March, 1888, asserting that Muslims are a separate nation. He advised the Muslims not to join the Indian National Congress. His speech was titled, "One Country Two Nations". Here are excerpts.
QUOTE
I think it expedient that I should first of all tell you the reason why I am about to address you on the subject of tonight's discourse. You know, gentlemen, that, from a long time, our friends, the Bengalis, have shown very warm feeling on political matters. Three years ago they founded a very big assembly, which holds its sittings in various places, and they have given it the name "National Congress." We and our nation gave no thought to the matter. And we should be very glad for our friends the Bengalis to be successful, if we were of the opinion that they had by their education and ability made such progress as rendered them fit for the claims they put forward. But although they are superior to us in education, yet we have never admitted that they have reached that level to which they lay claim to have attained. Nevertheless I have never, in any article, or in any speech, or even in conversation in any place, put difficulties or desired to put difficulties in the way of any of their undertakings. It has never been my wish to oppose any people or any nation who wish to make progress, and who have raised themselves up to that rank to which they wish to attain and for which they are qualified. But, my friends, the Bengalis have made a most unfair and unwarrantable interference with my nation, and therefore it is my duty to show clearly what this unwarrantable interference has been, and to protect my nation from the evils that may arise from it.
what I am about to say is not only useful for my own nation, but also for my Hindu brothers of these Provinces, who from some wrong notions have taken part in this Congress. At last they also will be sorry for it — although perhaps they will never have occasion to be sorry; for it is beyond the region of possibility that the proposals of the Congress should be carried out fully.
After this long preface, I wish to explain what method my nation — nay, rather the whole people of this country — ought to pursue in political matters. I will treat in regular sequence of the political questions of India, in order that you may have full opportunity of giving your attention to them. The first of all is this — In whose hands shall the administration and the Empire of India rest? Now, suppose that all English, and the whole English army, were to leave India, taking with them all their cannon and their splendid weapons and everything, then who would be rulers of India? Is it possible that under these circumstances, two nations — the Mahomedans and the Hindus — could sit on the same throne and remain equal in power? Most certainly not. It is necessary that one of them should conquer the other and thrust it down. To hope that both could remain equal is to desire the impossible and the inconceivable. At the same time, you must remember that although the number of Mahomedans is less than that of the Hindus, and although they contain far fewer people who have received a high English education, yet they must not be thought insignificant or weak. Probably they would be by themselves enough to maintain their own position. But suppose they were not. Then our Mussalman brothers, the Pathans, would come out as a swarm of locusts from their mountain valleys, and make rivers of blood to flow from their frontier in the north to the extreme end of Bengal. This thing — who, after the departure of the English, would be conquerors — would rest on the will of God. But until one nation had conquered the other and made it obedient, peace could not reign in the land. This conclusion is based on proofs so absolute that no one can deny it.
The aspirations of our friends, the Bengalis, have made such progress that they want to scale a height to which it is beyond their powers to attain. But if I am not in error, I believe that the Bengalis have never at any period held sway over a particle of land. They are altogether ignorant of the method by which a foreign race can maintain its rule over other races. Therefore, reflect on the doings of your ancestors, and be not unjust to the British Government to whom God has given the rule of India; and look honestly and see what is necessary for it to do, to maintain its empire and its hold on the country. You can appreciate these matters; but they cannot who have never held a country in their hands nor won a victory. Oh! my brother Musalmans! I again remind you that you have ruled nations, and have for centuries held different countries in your grasp. For seven hundred years in India, you have had Imperial sway. You know what it is to rule. Be not unjust to that nation which is ruling over you, and think also on this: how upright is her rule. Of such benevolence as the English Government shows to the foreign nations under her, there is no example in the history of the world.
we ought to unite with that nation with whom we can unite. No Mahomedan can say that the English are not "People of the Book." No Mahomedan can deny this: that God has said that no people of other religions can be friends of Mahomedans except the Christians. He who had read the Koran and believes it, he can know that our nation cannot expect friendship and affection from any other people. At this time, our nation is in a bad state as regards education and wealth, but God has given us the light of religion, and the Koran is present for our guidance, which has ordained them and us to be friends.
Now God has made them rulers over us. Therefore we should cultivate friendship with them, and should adopt that method by which their rule may remain permanent and firm in India, and may not pass into the hands of the Bengalis.

II. Mohammed Ali Jinnah (born December 25, 1876, died September 11, 1948)
Mohammed Ali Jinnah, who is identified as singularly responsible for the division of India and creation of the Islamic state of Pakistan, had in his famous March 1940 speech at Lahore to the Muslim League, when it adopted the Pakistan resolution, once again asserted that Muslims are a separate nation, separate from Hindus and other non–Muslims. Here are excepts from his speech.
QUOTE
Notwithstanding thousand years of close contact, nationalities, which are as divergent today as ever, cannot at any time be expected to transform themselves into one nation, merely by means of subjecting them to a democratic constitution and holding them forcibly together by unnatural and artificial methods of British Parliament statutes. What the unitary government of India for 150 years had failed to achieve cannot be realized by the imposition of a central federal government.
It is extremely difficult to appreciate why our Hindu friends fail to understand the real nature of Islam and Hinduism. They are not religions in the strict sense of the word, but are, in fact, different and distinct social orders and it is a dream that the Hindus and Muslims can ever evolve a common nationality, and this misconception of one Indian nation has gone far beyond the limits and is the cause of most of our troubles and will lead India to destruction if we fall to revise our notions in time. The Hindus and Muslims belong to two different religious philosophies, social customs, literature. They neither intermarry, nor interline together and indeed they belong to two different civilizations which are based mainly on conflicting ideas and conceptions. Their aspects on life and of life are different. It is quite clear that Hindus and Mussalmans derive their inspiration from different sources of history. They have different epics, different heroes and different episodes. Very often the hero of one is a foe of the other and likewise their victories and defeats overlap. To yoke together two such nations under a single state, one as a numerical minority and the other as a majority, must lead to growing discontent and final destruction of any fabric that may be so built up for the government of such a state.
History has presented to us many examples such as the Union of Great Britain and Ireland, Czechoslovakia and Poland. History has also shown to us many geographical tracts, much smaller than the subcontinent of India, which otherwise might have been called one country, but which have been divided into as many states as there are nations inhabiting them. The Bulkan peninsula comprises as many as seven or eight sovereign states. Likewise, the Portuguese and the Spanish stand divided in the Iberian Peninsula, Whereas under the plea of unity of India and one nation which does not exist, it is sought to pursue here the line of one central government when we know that the history of the last twelve hundred years has failed to achieve unity and has witnessed, during these ages, India always divided into Hindu India and Muslim India. The present artificial unity of India dates back only to the British conquest and is maintained by the British bayonet, but the termination of the British regime, which is implicit in the recent declaration of His Majesty's government, will be the herald of the entire break-up with worse disaster than has ever taken place during the last one thousand years under Muslims. Surely, that is not the legacy which Britain would bequeath to India after 150 years of her rule, nor would Hindu and Muslim India risk such a sure catastrophe.
Muslim India cannot accept any constitution which must necessarily result in a Hindu majority government. Hindus and Muslims brought together under a democratic system forced upon the minorities can only mean Hindu Raj. Democracy of the kind with which the Congress High Command is enamored would mean the complete destruction of what is most precious in Islam. We have had ample experience of the working of the provincial constitutions during the last two and a half years (1937-39) and any repetition of such a government must lead to civil war and raising of private armies as recommended by Mr. Gandhi to Hindus of Sukkur, when he said that they must defend themselves violently or non-violently, blow for blow, and if they could not, they must emigrate.
Mussalmans are not a minority as it is commonly known and understood.
Mussalmans are a nation according to any definition of a nation and they must have their homelands, their territory and their state.
UNQUOTE
Muslims, who agitated, rioted and voted for the division of the country and creation of Pakistan in the two decades 1930s & 1940s have continued to live in India. Similarly, the former Razakars and their progeny, who wanted to establish the Islamic state of Nizam, who took to arms to convert the Nizam Nawab's of Hyderabad territory into a sovereign independent Islamic state are also continuing to live in Hyderabad and Telengana. Now, all these are calling themselves minorities and in order to assert their separatism, they have demanded and have been granted by the vote-seeking and hunting "secular" parties, minority commissions, minority educational institutions, minority finance corporations, minority (majority) districts, minority Urdu universities and now reservation for minorities. Very soon, they will be asking for separate electorate as before 1947 and then autonomy for the Muslim districts (90 of them as planned by the UPA government) and ultimately secession from India like in Kashmir. The "secular" parties, are either innocently or criminally collaborating with this minority, whose ultimate goal is the restoration of the whole of this country to Muslim rule either by conquest or by demographic explosion.

Direct Action Day and the Great Partition
(In order to terrorise the opponents of partition of India and creation of the Islamic state of Pakistan, the Muslim League lead by Mohammed Ali Jinnah gave a call to Muslims of India to take to "Direct Action" from the 16th of August 1946. On that one day in the Muslim League-ruled state of undivided Bengal, in Calcutta, its capital, 10,000 Hindus were slaughtered and then the communal civil war erupted. This frightened the Congress and Hindus led by it, to submit to the demand for division of this country. The Calcutta killings were the first state-sponsored pogrom in India. The killings of about 4000 Sikhs in Delhi, the capital of India in Oct-Nov 1984 is a comparable misdeed. What happened in the aftermath of the burning of Hindu pilgrims in rail bogies in Godhra, Gujarat pales into insignificance in comparison to the Calcutta and Delhi killings. We reproduce below an extract referring to the Calcutta killing from "The Great Partition: The Making of India and Pakistan" by the historian Yasmin Khan.)
"The streets of Calcutta were verily empty on the morning of 16 August 1946. The Muslim League provincial government had called a public holiday to mark Direct Action Day. Three days later at least 4,000 of Calcutta's residents lay dead and over 10,000 were injured. The streets were deserted once again. Now the scene was one of carnage, buildings reduced to rubble, rubbish uncollected from the streets, telephone and power lines severed. Schools, courts, mills and shops stayed closed. A British official groped for an analogy, describing the landscape as across between the worst of London air raids and the Great plague In the intervening days, the worst riots between Hindus and Muslims ever remembered in India broke out. What had once been violent, but almost theatrical encounters between politicised militias and activists, had burst their limits and had become targeted attacks on innocent civilians, including women, children and the elderly.
Although there had been riots in Calcutta in the past, the violence of August 1946 was distinctive in its scale and intensity. Vastly different social groups and sections of the city amassed along religious lines. Jinnah's call for a day of direct action on which a complete hartal would be utilized to demonstrate support for Pakistan undoubtedly triggered the violence. Jinnah ratcheted, the oratory, speaking of Congress as a 'Fascist Grand Council'. The day of direct action was clearly a strategic manoeuvre. Jinnah needed to strength his own hand of Cartesian, the unfolding dispute over the membership of the interim government which was taking place in New Delhi, and to show just how ardent the demand for Muslims representation really was. Jinnah called on his followers 'to conduct' themselves peacefully and in a 'disciplined manner' although his own usually precise and legalistic prose was vague enough to allow for violent reinterpretation.
A few days before Direct Action Day, the Calcutta district League set out its own plans; there would be a complete strike of Muslims workers in shops and factories, then numerous processions accompanied by musical bands and drums would converge from all over greater Calcutta— from Howrah, Hooghly, Matiaburz and elsewhere — ending in a mass rally. Leaguers were told to go out to the mosques, where they should tell people about the plans, hand out pamphlets and say special prayers for the freedom of m India, the Islamic world and the peoples of India and the east in general. Older networks of mullahs, mosques and pires were put to work, to spread the call for Direct Action in Bengal.
On the morning of 16 August, League supporters opened their Newspapers to find large printed advertisements inside them:
Today is Direct Action Day
Today Muslims of India dedicate their lives and all they possess to the cause of freedom
Today let every Muslim swear in the name of Allah to resist aggression
Direct Action is now their only course
Because they offered peace but they were betrayed
They claimed Liberty but were offered Thraldom
Now Might alone can secure the Right
What 'Direct Action' meant, though, was wide open to speculation and distortion. During the build—up, handbills and fly posters using religious language urged Muslims to act and linked the earliest Muslims with the contemporary situation announcing that, in this holy month of Ramzan, Mecca was conquered from the infidels and in this month again a Jehad for the establishment of Pakistan has been declared. This kind of Islamic populism drew on older myths and stories, reworking history and have the Mayor of Calcutta himself (a Muslim) commanded. 'We Muslims have had the crown and have ruled. Do not lose heart, be ready and take swords. Oh Kafir Your doom is not far and the greater massacre will come."

A Swayam Sevak replies to Javed Anand
reply by a Swayam Sevak to
Javed Anand, co-editor of
Communalism Combat (a compound
name compromising of Muslim and
Hindu to flaunt secularism). This
Javed Anand married Teesta
Setalvad a Hindu daughter of a
famous attorney. She has not
changed her name to that of a
Muslim to proclaim true
“secularism”. This couple have a
poisonous journal called
“Communalism Combat”. It is to
combat this poison that we have
started the “Secularism” Combat”.)
Respected Mr Javedji,
We are happy to read your article
cum application with your intent to
join the RSS.
On behalf of RSS I invite you to
our nearest Shakha. Please let us
know if you find difficulty in finding
one. We would be very happy to
have you there as one among us.
But Sir, I have some comments on
the points raised by you in the
article.
As a Swayamsevak and also as
a modern Hindu, I do not judge a
person by his / her ancestry; religion,
race or social background. We have
no tradition of ‘background
checking’ in our Shakha, leave alone
wanting to speculate about
somebody’s social, religious or racial
backgrounds. But since you have
speculated about your ancestry,
based on the Islamist version of
Indian history only to make a point,
I think there should be the objective
version of history too that should be
put across.
You speculate that you may be
a descendent of an untouchable who
was seduced out of Hinduism by the
“appeal” of Islam. I do not deny you
the prerogative to your imagined
past. I accept its probability,
however small. But an objective
reading of history would tell you that
you and I have greater chance of
being the descendents of Dhimmis
or Hindu slaves. Your ancestors
may not have been among the tens
of thousands of Hindu salves who
used to be transported naked in the
torturous winters of the ‘Hindu Kush’
mountains; for very few of them
would even have survived to be sold
as slaves in Afghanistan and Persia.
But there are better chances that
you could find your lineage in the
Dhimmis or slaves somewhere
geographically nearer; in the
empires of one of the Sultans or
Nawabs.
If your forefathers were lucky
enough they could also have been
from rich princely families, many of
whom chose to convert to Islam so
that they could save themselves and
their loved ones, from the barbaric
destruction at the hands of
Aurangzeb and his likes. Or they
could have been less lucky Hindu
traders, farmers, artisans or priests,
who were the victims of plunder, loot
and torture and were converted at
the point of sword or by constant
persecution and subjection to
‘Dhimmitude’ and slavery. They
could also have been courageous
Hindu soldiers and generals who
lost fighting bravely and whose
women folk were forced into the
Harems of the Islamic rulers and
generals. The probabilities are too
many. Let me stop at that.
Sir, as an Islamist, you may have
problems accepting that the Islamist
rulers ever imposed ‘Zejiya’
(religious tax on non Muslims) or
that Hindus (Jains, Sikhs,
Buddhists and all pagans of India
included) were regarded as
‘Dhimmis’ and condemned to a life
of slavery or for that matter, the fact
that the Islamic invasion of India was
one of the bloodiest in the history of
mankind. But never mind, you can
always make a new beginning by
liberating yourself of your past
biases. I am hopeful that you would
open your eyes to the Islamic
records of the Hindu Holocaust; the
tales of plunder and rape, of
destruction and of torture
unapologetically recorded by the
court historians of these “egalitarian”
Islamist rulers. You say Sir, that you
feel “insecure”. That is probably
because you own up the historical
guilt for the Hindu holocaust by
Islamists which you need not. You
need not see yourself and other
Muslims as the owners of the bloody
legacy of the Islamists but as the
descendants of the innocent Hindus
who were victims of it. Sir, who else,
other than your Dhimmi brothers
and sisters, could sympathize with
you and understand your mental
miscegenation of “Mandir” and
“Masjid”? Sir, it is your choice to
accept or to deny your Dhimmi
ancestry and go for an ideologically
convinient ‘untouchable- convert’
ancestry. But that would hardly be
of any consequence in your joining
the RSS. Sir, we belive in the future
and not in the past. You an
untouchable- convert and I a Dhimmi
slave, together we can make a great
new beginning.
You would also be very happy to
know Sir, that we Hindus, unlike
Indian Muslims, have come a long
way since the medieval times. We
can take you right inside the temple,
if you wish, for your intended “ghar
vapsi” where you can offer pooja and
aarti possibly guided by a temple
priest whose known ancestry, unlike
yours which is speculative, could
run back to an “untouchable”. You
may also want to bring along your
wife Teestaji, who as a woman can’t
even dream of entering a Mosque.
What a liberation wouldn’t it be for
a woman who is still considered
“untouchable” and “impure” to enter
a Mosque?
Sir. you are welcome to join us.
Hindus, who have no problems
accepting my being an atheist, have
never had any problems with your
Namaz and Roza. But Sir, my many
friends outside Sangh tell me that
we RSS people are very naïve and
that we should not fall prey to the
designs of somebody who has
fudged records, and concocted
“macabre of tales” (as the leaked
SIT report puts it) of riot cases, to
defame, denigrate and attack
innocent and unsuspecting Hindus.
They tell me Sir, that there are other
well meaning Muslims whom we
could talk to. But never mind Sir,
we should have no problems,
especially if we know that you have
changed since. It would be great, if
you could come out in the open and
let the world know the truth about
the concocted stories of riots and
also apologize for being untruthful. I
know, that would be very difficult. But
I wish ‘Allah’ gives you and your wife
all the courage you need to liberate
yourself from a life of lies.
Sir, also since you have claimed
earlier to have worked as a human
rights activist, I am hopeful that you
and your wife would open your eyes
to the plight of poor Hindu fishermen
who were brutally massacred by
armed Muslim gangs on the beach
of Marad not very long ago, or the
tribals belonging to the Jatiya tribe
in Tripura who are facing genocide
at the hands of Church supported
insurgents, or the unsuspecting
Hindu and Christian girls who are
being lured by Jehadi boys in
Kerala, and then being sold in Arab
countries as prostitutes and slaves
or the Kashmiri Pandits whose lives
are but all devastated and to all the
Hindus who live a life of religious
persecution, insecurity and are
victims of constant aggression.
I also wish that ‘Allah’ gives you
the courage that he has given to
great Muslim intellectuals like ‘Ibn
Warraq’, ‘Anwar Sheikh’ and ‘Ali
Sina’ so that you too can help
liberate yourself and the Muslim
community from dogmatism and
fanaticism and open their minds to
modern science and objective
thinking. That, I believe is the only
solution to your mental
miscegenation and your
“insecurity”.
Looking forward to your
participation in one of our Shakhas.
Best regards to you and to
Teestaji,
Yours affectionately
Swayamsevak

Varun Gandhi tormented for what?
The Election Commission had found Varun's remark in Pilibhit as derogatory references and serious provocative language. Now it is Priyanka's turn to slam it as "not what the Family stands for". And the media immediately made it into a Gandhi versus Gandhi controversy.
Did Varun claim that he was the spokesperson of The Family and that he was articulating what The Family stood for? What he proclaimed in clear and loud terms was that he is a Hindu and a Gandhi and an Indian, by no stretch of one's imagination can this be capsuled into what The Family stands for. The Hindu is as ageless as this country - It did not resurrect 2000 years ago, nor was It imported into this country as all other religions were. By the way how can Priyanka claim to be the repository of The Family? Is she referring to the Vadra family to which she now belongs or to the Gandhi family to which Varun stands a greater claim because he and his mother are only citizens of this country - they do not hold dual citizenship? His mother did not acquire an Indian citizenship but was born into it. All this weakens the tall claim made by Priyanka that Varun has not expressed what The Family stands for. But the issue is not about which family member is correct regarding what The Family stands for. It is not a family affair - a family squabble. Varun had articulated national concerns, this cannot be capsuled into a family concern. One billion people with one billion ideas and aspirations and Varun has come out as a champion of the persecuted, the besieged, the hounded, the slain and the deprived - which for him is the Hindu. Where is communalism in this?
It is not the first time that Priyanka has projected her ignorance and narrow mindset. Last elections she preened herself and asked if anyone has made sacrifices "as my family had". She little knows the sacrifices of the millions, the unsung heroes of India. They ask for no power nor do they tom-tom the sacrifices - the widow who lost her husband ,the father of the family who never returned from his vigil at the borders - the son who never knew that his parents were no more, the shattered families all silently shed their tears - given a pittance to keep their brokenness together. That's sacrifice. And what are the sacrifices of the Antoinette Maino Gandhi Vadra Family? Indira Gandhi was shot at her backdoor by her own security men - Who conspired and why? Priyanka Vadra should probe and bring out the truth. The nation has a right to know. Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated not before he allowed the IPKF to torture and kill and rape hundreds of Tamils in Sri Lanka. It was he who made Prabhakaran what he is today - nurtured him ... But then, without any qualms, Antoinette Maino Sonia Gandhi did not hesitate to ally with a party, which the Shah Commission faulted as the needle of suspicion pointing to it in Rajiv Gandhi's assassination. What you sow you reap. Can these be termed as sacrifices made for the country or the karma of the evil and wrongs wrought on this country and on its innocent gullible people? Terming these as sacrifices is like the renunciation power drama. Let it be known that India is not the serfdom of the Gandhi's.
At least Varun - one Gandhi - has the vision. Now every method will be used to stifle his voice. Priyanka Vadra would do well to read up history. If Varun had stated that he will protect mosques and Muslims, that would have been secular. The moment one mentions Hindu and mandir, it becomes communal. All political parties have anchored themselves on communal and caste lines, which the EC does not find provocative and derogatory. Murderers and history sheeters can become candidates to represent people in the highest forum of democracy - that is not abominable and against the very Constitution which the EC is suppose to uphold more than the code of conduct.
Priyanka Vadra has missed the whole point when she advised Varun to read the Gita. Coming to the hand which Varun threatened to cut if it destroys the Hindu. The hand of a destroyer must be cut off, that's what Gita says. The hand of a terrorist, the hand of a destroyer, the hand of a murderer, the hand of an Asuri shakthi must be cut off. This is the role of a protector - a guardian and one who stands with and for the people.
And finally what does The Family stand for? Selfish vested interest! The family which brought in Quatrocchi to swindle the land, and allowed him to flee the justice of this land, Rajiv Gandhi who ordered the locks of the Babri Masjid to be broken and thus brought communalism to centre stage of politics, with Antoniette Maino Sonia Gandhi's renunciation started the complete demolishment of every Constitutional institution and in her, a de facto PM of the country. When today in the election campaigns, Antoinette Maino Sonia Gandhi praises Manmohan Singh - she is praising herself - the puppeteer and not the puppet. What is it that Priyanka Vadra thinks that the family stands for? It is The Family which injected divisive politics, created vote bank politics, accepted a communalized Sachar report (which must be thrown into the dustbins of history), on its basis created a ministry, a whole budget for a people based on religion. Can Priyanka Vadra point out anywhere in the world such blatant communalism? Priyanka should visit Mallapuram in Kerala to witness the trend of communalism or tell us why under The Family ethnic cleansing was resorted to in Jammu & Kashmir? These will indicate the rabid communalism which The Family stood for and continues to stand for. It is not decent to continue insulting the people of this country by equating it to just The Family. This country - of Hindustan, of the HINDU, is ageless - to catch its dazzling brilliance, people like Priyanka Vadra should break out of their cocoons of security and tread the length and breath of this ancient land. One must in all humility shed off one's arrogance, self-righteousness, and all-knowing attitude and be humble to learn from the rustic people - the common folk - the depth of values of this country. One should be honest to credit the simple people of this country with greater scholarship, greater resilience, and greater sacrificing capacity blend with a fierce patriotism - and delve into the ethos of this country.

Conversion and jihad are two sides of the same coin
The new Superior General of the Missionaries of Charity (which was made notorious by Mother Teresa), Sister Mary Prema, made two revelations - that religious conversion "is God's work" and that - if she received divine inspiration, she would go to Kandhamal. The first statement, of describing conversions as God's work, is the usual cliche, handy to all those involved in conversion. Conversion is to Christianity what jihad is to Islam.
Sister Prema explained, "Every human being has the right to believe. Each person is born with dignity. Religious conversion is God's work". The contradictions galore within these sentences are glaring. If every person has the right to believe, then where is the need to initiate that person to something new and strange, in which that person is not born in?
Should one God be exorcised out of the person and another God be installed to uphold the dignity with which this person was born? This is actually what conversion is all about. Why this rupturing of the person from what he/she was?
God of invasions
What Sister Prema really means is that every person has a need to be converted and hence the right of the person to believe is conditioned and restricted to only believing in the God in whom Sister Prema and her church believes. This is what Sister Prema articulated when she so naively asserted that every person has a right to believe and every person is born with dignity. That this God is only 2000 years old and somehow seems to be always in the company of those who invade the land of others, is another dimension which needs a longer treatise.
If conversion is God's work, then whose work is re-conversion? Sister Prema, the Superior General of the MoC (Missionaries of Charity), and the whole armies of Christian missionaries involved in conversion, have failed this god miserably - because their God has failed them. If conversion is God's work, he seems to be rather slow and inefficient. The Catholic Church has the biggest army of nuns and priests and the Christian evangelical churches have their own brand of evangelists; the Southern Baptists alone as a group has nearly 100,000 career missionaries in North India.
It is the simple unarmed, poverty-stricken tribals and passive Hindus that this God and his divine inspired missionaries target. Yet it is not so easy; despite the enormous funds that flow and the armies at the disposal of this God, he had to give divine inspiration to massacre an unarmed poor Swamiji whom he found a great hurdle to the spread of his kingdom.
Conversion is violence
Sister Prema has unwittingly exposed the bluff of the Congress and UPA leaders. We are told that conversion is not taking place. Conversion takes different forms - globally, it is disguised as a military coup, violence, and very often, a deception of service and development is given to this violent conversion. Yes, conversion is violence wrought on a person - to deprive the person of his/her dignity, which according to Sister Prema, every person is born with - to tear the person off his affinity, his religious heritage and make him/her an alien; a psychological bleeding to death.
Christianity and conversion are two sides of the same coin. Wherever Christianity went, it was bloodshed-destruction, and a hidden agenda of political power, economic aggrandizement, and pauperization of the victims. In the words of Jomo Kenyatta (of Kenya), "when the missionaries came they had the Bible and we had the land. They said, 'Let us pray,' We closed our eyes, when we opened them, they had our lands and we had the Bible."
This is true not only in Africa, but all over the globe. Those countries which broke away from the stranglehold of the Vatican became progressive - like Canada, Australia, England. But those colonized by Catholic powers like Spain, Portugal Mexico, Argentina, Cuba, Italy are mired in military rule and church tyranny. Christianity today likes to be seen as a peace-loving, compassionate religion of brotherhood. But far from it - the religion was born in blood and grew in bloodshed. Economic and political powers are its hidden agenda, covered with service organizations, educational institutions etc.
Perhaps Sister Prema is too naïve to understand and she and all nuns and priests are ignorant of church history. These nuns and priests are brainwashed into this service and love of the poor mission. Many soon realize, but then it is too late, especially in India, to be courageous and pull out. They become voices in the wilderness and the church is too powerful for ordinary innocent and truthful persons to fight against.
Kandhamal – wither justice?
This brings me to Sister Prema's pious wish - that she would visit Kandhamal if she receives 'divine inspiration' and would definitely intervene. One wonder what intervention is she talking about - intervene for whom and with whom? Sister Prema would do a greater service if she visited the ex-nun Jesme in Kerala and listened to her tale of sexual harassment within the convent - how she was betrayed by her own and even had to submit physically to priests.
This is nothing new and not a singular case, but happenings that have been on for ages. These sexual escapades, including rape and murder, have been happening within the confines of the convents and the church compounds. Only when a nun is raped outside these confines, then all hell breaks loose. Sister Prema could direct her divine inspired mission to empathize with Sister Jesmy and many like her, and intervene with the church authorities. The Superior General of the MoC (Missionaries of Charity) should be aware that nuns are on contraceptives, nuns have begotten children of bishops and priests, whole dioceses have been sold in the USA to pay the compensation for the sexual violation of altar boys by priests.
A Jesuit province in the USA has declared itself insolvent because it cannot garner the huge funds to pay the compensation to the sexual victims of priests. Be it in India or in other parts of the world, all this pales into nothing - only Kandhamal occupies and covers the whole vision of the pious Christians, and Sister Prema is no exception. I suggest she first visit the ashram of Swami Laxmanananda and soothe the terror-stricken children in whose presence the 84-year old Swamiji was brutally butchered. Three sanyasis present were also killed. Will Sister Prema intervene with those murderers and see that justice is done?
Why Income Tax exemption?
One last request, Sister Prema and her MoC (Missionaries of Charity) work for the poor, she claims. Then why should the money meant for the poor of this country find its way to the coffers of Rome? It is very difficult to divest conversion and money. Are the accounts of the MoC (Missionaries of Charity) being audited? If not, why?
Why should the lands and church properties be exempted from tax and auditing? This is something anti-national. Money cannot change its value simply because it is held in the hands of a particular community - all monies must be accounted for. Is it not strange that those working in Minority education institutions and drawing UGC pay scales are Income tax assesses, but priests and the nuns working in the same institutions are exempted from paying Income Tax? They too draw the same salaries, if not more for less work, and hold individual bank accounts and draw pensions till death, all from tax-payer monies. Why should they be exempted from paying Income Tax? This is just one area to show that the workings of Sister Prema and all missionaries are a big money-spinning business.
Power to hurt
A special vocabulary must be coded to understand the language of the Christians. Power is sugar-coated and called service. Forgiveness is easily extended to those who hurt them - to show how compassionate they are. But they refuse to stop hurting others - they refuse to stop dehumanizing the tribals and the poor. Why don't they leave the poor alone?
If despite the enormous funds which have flowed and are flowing from abroad, combined with the government's Five Year Plans and a globally powerful God by their side, missionaries are not able to diminish poverty, to reduce hunger and assetlessness, then is it not time to pause and take stock of what is fundamentally wrong? Who is swindling whom? Why are the poor kept in poverty? Why should the poor continue to be poor, why should backwardness be ever growing?
Account for the work that has been so far carried on and stop the pauperization and plunder of this country and its poor. Should we wait for Sister Prema and the likes of her for divine inspiration to be just logical and sensible?
Tailpiece
Even the Pope has lost his ability to pray and has now assigned the Archbishop of Guwahati to script prayers for him! The Catholic Church needs prayer scripters - for it is unable to turn the hearts and souls of its followers to that spirit within themselves and seek redemption and justice.

Will Sri L K Advani talk about these truths?
These issues ought to be talked out not only by Sri Advani but by every BJP leader and party worker in the States, if they are sincerely committed to the preservation of Bharat's integrity building upon our heritage and fashioning a prosperous, powerful, intellectual and ethical India.
Here is the text of my note:
Bharat and Sanaatana Dharma are under relentless, strident attack and so these are under peril.
- If BJP wants to be "secular" and out-bid Congress and the regional parties to please minorities and ignore the injustices to Hindus, then Hindus should be advised to form a Hindu Party (like the Indian Union Moslem League and Majlis Ittehadul Muslameen – MIM) and not look to BJP to protect Hindutva and Bharat.
- Can't the BJP governments (eg. Karnataka) get out of the management of Hindu temples in their states and entrust them to Dharmacharya Sabhas?
- Can't the BJP have cells in each state to file PILs (public interest litigations) like for example against Andhra Pradesh government funding construction of churches and mosques and subsidising pilgrimage to Jerusalem and providing marriage assistance to Christians and Moslems [and not to Hindus]?
- Why can't the BJP have TV Channels and language dailies (like DMK, AIDMK, CPM, Congress in Andhra Pradesh – (Saakshi daily)?
- Why don't BJP governments in states found Nationalistic Universities and staff them with nationalist scholars to counter the de-Indianising Jawaharlal Nehru University (the Marxist Madrassa) and the Central Universities which are colonised by JNU-origin teachers?
- Can't the BJP units in the states launch a movement to identify Bangladeshi infiltrators and report on them to Police? Launch Swadeshi movement to urge Hindus not to employ these illegals and boycott their employers and their shelterers and defenders?
- Can't the BJP launch a movement to separate Jammu & Ladakh, constitute them into state(s) with the same autonomy as Kashmir and thereby save those areas from eventually becoming Moslem majority?
During your Yatra, please ask:
- Why districts like Malabar and Gurgaon are divided to carve out Muslim majority districts?
- Why 90 "Sachar-Moslem First" districts should be specially funded and developed to become Pakistans?
Hindus feel betrayed by BJP. That is why they, seeing some virtues like corruption and easy money-making in the Congress, are veering round to Congress or regional, casteist, proprietorship parties like TDP, DMK/AIDMK, Trinamool, Biju Lok Dal etc.
Why talk of Hindutva when your governments do nothing for it and provoke Muslims and Christians to unite [as in Andhra Pradesh] and contrive to divide Hindus by caste and rule over them [eg. AP: 12% Christian, 15% Moslem, 8% Adivasi and 5% dominant Reddi caste – 40% vote for Congress]. We have the christianizing government using budget and temple funds, and with Moslem muscle build churches and mosques and pay the fees of all minority students from primary to graduate level.
Please think over.
Please be truthful.
Please don't mislead Hindus into complacency and rationalization of the creeping dhimmitude.
